HAPPY 53TH BIRTHDAY REMUS LUPIN aka our favourite DADA teacher!I wanted to give you some facts, so I went looking for them on the interwebz (look at me being funny with letters). The first one that came up: "Remus Lupin is a werewolf". No shit, Sherlock!
Anyways, here are some facts you might enjoy!
1. Remus' first name comes from Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. They were raised by a she-wolf. Lupus means wolf in Latin and Remus' Potterwatch name is Romulus. Well done, JKR.
2. Remus' nickname is Moony, not Mooney. It's misspelled in PoA (film) as an inside joke to Karl Mooney, the visual effects supervisor.
3. Remus' middle name is John.
4. He was killed by Antonin Dolohov May 2nd 1998. *moment of silence please*
5. He has a sweet-tooth. *cough* chocolate *cough*
6. Remus actually shipped himself with Filch. Weird, right?
Oh right, one of the above isn't fact. Ha ha. Which one could it be? Excuse my non existing humour.
